The ETA 2824-2

T
he Van d’Hall range of limited timepieces uses the Swiss 25 jewel ETA 2824-2 automatic mechanical movement. The ETA 2824-2 is driven by the motion of the wearer so never needs winding by hand for as long as the watch is being worn. If the Inforturo is put to one side the power reserve from fully wound is 37 hours.

The heart of the Inforturo beats at 28.800 vibrations per hour which gives rise to better timekeeping possibilities.
The second hand appears to move without jumping, in fact, it moves 8 times for every second of time that passes.

The Inforturos made so far have been calibrated to fall into the ±2 sec per day.
